SAND HOLLOW ยท TOWNS

Supplies close
to the sand.

Few dune destinations sit this close to a city. Use that to finish every errand before you enter the park.

Hurricane

The park's own directions run through the Hurricane exit on I-15 (Exit 16), then east on SR-9 about four miles to Sand Hollow Road. That makes Hurricane the natural last stop for fuel, groceries and ice. The park is roughly 297 miles south of Salt Lake City.

St. George

St. George has the widest choice of gear, parts and lodging in the area, and it is where Intermountain Health runs the St. George Regional Hospital emergency department.

Check the managing agency before you tow

This is an independent planning guide. Fees, hours, closures, fire orders and riding boundaries change. Confirm the current details with Utah State Parks and the BLM St. George Field Office.
